On January 1, 2009 Tyler J. Trahant became President of MINKERTRAHANT & Associates, after joining the firm as a Broker/Associate in 1998. Tyler specializes in office and industrial leasing and sales as well as self storage brokerage. Originally from New Orleans, Tyler graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in International Marketing and a minor in Japanese. Currently Tyler is a candidate for the prestigious CCIM Real Estate designation.  A few of the firms Tyler has represented includes Chemical Lime Company, VLK Architects, European Skincare, CMA, Samsung Aerospace, Multatech Architects and Engineering, Lodge Energy and the Caffey Group.  He has completed over $80,000,000.00 in transaction volume since 1998.

He is an active member of the Society of Commercial Realtors where he serves on the Board of Governors. In his 10 year career, Tyler has been selected as Fort Worth Business Press 2002 - 40 Under 40 Award Recipient, 2005 Leadership Fort Worth class.  Civically Tyler serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Board of Directors of the Women’s Center of Fort Worth.  Tyler has also been serving as a "Big Brother" to a Fort Worth youth for the last 4 years.
